Fanelo Ya Mina is an active member of the MenEngage Africa - a regional network- formed in 2006 with the goal of working in partnership to promote the engagement of men and boys in achieving gender equality, preventing HIV, promoting human rights and reducing violence at all levels across the continent. In particular, the network aims to promote collaboration and resource sharing among organizations, support joint advocacy and policy initiatives, and build capacity and leadership on gender equality within Africa. MenEngage Africa operates through a steering committee which oversees the co-ordination of activities, and country networks which bring together partner organisations at a national level. Fanelo Ya Mina é um membro activo da Aliança MenEngage Africa - uma rede regional, formada em 2006 com o objectivo de trabalhar em parceria para promover o envolvimento de homens e rapazes no alcance da igualdade de género, prevenção do HIV, promoção dos direitos humanos e reduzir a violência doméstica a todos níveis no continente. Em particular, a rede tem como objectivo promover a colaboração e a partilha de recursos entre as organizações, desenvolvimento de iniciativas conjuntas e desenvolvimento da capacidade de liderança com vista a igualdade de género em Africa. MenEngage Africa opera por meio de um comitê gestor que supervisiona a coordenação de actividades e redes dos países membros. O actual presidente da rede é Sonke Gender Justice Network.
